U.S. President Donald Trump is going on a visit to China, but this visit will be completely unsuccessful and merely a waste of time. The media will greatly exaggerate and sensationalize this visit, presenting it as something very significant. However, in reality, it will produce no meaningful results. At present, there are two major issues. The first is the matter of Iran. China will not step back from supporting Iran; rather, it will increase its support. The second important issue is Taiwan. I can say in advance that Trump will face complete failure on the Taiwan issue. In fact, during his visit to China, Trump may not even be able to mention Taiwan by name.
